This opening piece for brass band is a musical ode to the North and combines Dutch tradition with references to the Wilhelmus. <\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The title <span class=\"s1\"><i>Song t(w)o the North<\/i><\/span> refers to the earlier work <span class=\"s1\"><i>S\u00e5ng till Norden<\/i><\/span> by the same composer.
